Comprehensive Women’s Health is home to an experienced and dedicated staff that sincerely enjoys serving the needs of each patient. Our doctors are board certified and experienced in treating a variety of illnesses including diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.

  • Angela Marshall, MD, FACP

    Dr. Angela Marshall is a Board Certified Internist who has practiced in the Washington Metropolitan area since 2002. She received her undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. After completing her Bachelor’s degree, she worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Central Intelligence Agency.

    Dr. Marshall decided to combine her love for science and passion for helping people by pursuing a medical degree. She received a Doctorate of Medicine from Indiana University. She completed her medical internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana and her Internal Medicine Residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.

    Dr. Marshall understands the unique demands that women experience and has a strong commitment to caring for her patients so they can better care for their families.

  • Christina Neal, MHS, PA-C

    Christina Neal is a certified Physician Assistant and has practiced in Maryland since 2005. Christy received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2002. She received a Master's degree in Health Science and her Physician Assistant Certification from George Washington University in 2005. She is a member of both the American and Maryland Academies of Physician Assistants. Christy is passionate about women's health and has a keen interest in adolescent medicine.

  • Lauren Maragh, MD

    Lauren Maragh, M.D. is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine. Her passion for helping others started at a young age which led her to pursue an undergraduate degree in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. She worked several years a researcher and technician at the Georgetown University Comprehensive Cancer Center prior to entering medical school at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon completion of her degree she trained at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center with specific focus in primary care. Prior to joining the Comprehensive Women’s Health family she provided healthcare within the Veterans Administration with a focus on women’s health care. She is excited to bring her passion for women’s health to CWH.

  • Marcia Y.L. Parris, MD

    Marcia Parris, MD is a Board Certified Family Physician. She practiced in New York for 15 years and has returned to her native Washington Metropolitan area. Dr. Parris graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from Spelman College.  She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University School of Medicine. During that time, she decided she wanted to work in an underserved community and was selected to become a member of the National Health Service Corps.  She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Parris embraces her patients like family and believes in working with her patients to improve their mental and physical health.

  • Tatia Ford Johnson, MPAS, PA-C

    Tatia Johnson became a Board Certified Physician Assistant in 1998 after earning a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA. She completed undergraduate work at South Carolina State University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Tatia’s diverse medical background spans 20+ years, including Family Practice, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine. Her commitment to deliver the highest quality care to patients has continued since joining Comprehensive Women’s Health (CWH) in January 2018, which coincides with the practice’s high standards as a leading patient-centered medical home (PCMH). Tatia began her career providing health care to patients at a suburban Family Medicine office in Pittsburgh. After relocating to Maryland, she joined Shah Associates where she enjoyed serving rural populations in the California and Charlotte Hall regions of Southern Maryland. A few years later, Tatia took a position at Children’s Healthcare Center in Waldorf that focused on the medical needs of patients aged newborn to 18 years old. Overall, Tatia believes her compassion as a healthcare provider stems from her varied medical experiences – all of which will continue to benefit her patients at CWH. In her spare time, you’ll find Tatia, alongside her husband, cheering at their high schooler’s baseball game or younger son’s wrestling match.

  • Seleste N. Upshaw, MSN, FNP-BC

    Seleste Upshaw is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and native of Richmond, Virginia. For almost ten years, she has worked as a a nurse in Internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine, and mental health. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Chamberlain University and graduated with honors as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She completed her Master’s in Nursing at Chamberlain earning a family nurse practitioner degree. She is excited to bring her passion for community health and patient education to CWH. In her spare time, she enjoys seeing the latest movies and volunteering in her community.

  • Sylvia Gonsahn-Bollie, MD

    Dr. Sylvia Gonsahn-Bollie is dual board certified in internal and obesity medicine with a passion for helping women through practical and personalized weight management. In addition to general weight loss and maintenance, she specializes in weight management for bariatric or orthopedic surgery. Previously, she practiced primary care and weight management in Richmond, Virginia for five years. Dr. Bollie has engaged in her own weight loss journey to overcome emotional eating by adhering to a holistic and balanced lifestyle. She is excited to join CWH to help patients reach their happy, healthy weight.
